(Tulsa, Oklahoma) - A great weekend of soccer concluded on Sunday afternoon as the Inaugural AC Milan Heartland Cup came to a close in Tulsa. During the weekend of June 3, the Indian Springs Soccer Complex was invaded by a total of 11 teams for the AC Milan Heartland Cup. The three teams in the U11 boys age group met on the field for friendly matches between Northwest Optimist Soccer NOW United FC, Tulsa Soccer Club (TSC) Hurricane 01 Crouch and West Side Alliance (WSA) 01 White. The U12/13 division hosted four semi-final hopfuls TSC Hurricane 00 Elkington, TSC Hurricane 99 Bedwell, TSC Hurricane 99 Blackwell and AC Milan. TSC Hurricane 99 Bedwell ended up on top against AC Milan in the final game with a 2-1 victory. The Boys U14/15 semi-finals featured the  Oklahoma Football (OFC) 98 boys, WSA 98 boys, TSC Hurricane Miranda and AC Milan squads. Even though the OFC 98 boys lost their second game to TSC Hurricane Miranda, they still got a shot at the championship as they won out in the semi-finals. AC Milan finished the match by pulling through with a 2-1 victory over OFC 98 boys. Join us for the 2nd annual AC Milan Heartland Cup Tournament the weekend of July 13, 2013.
