    Schedule of play announced

    The schedule of play has been set for the inagural AC Milan Heartland Cup in Tulsa, Okla. The Tulsa Sports Commission shared the full schedule of game play with teams, coaches, staff and spectators.

    "Competition is set for the first Heartland Cup," said Ray Hoyt, senior vice president of Tulsa Sports Commission. "We're excited to see our local and regional teams competing against the AC Milan Junior League international teams."

    Games will be played over two days, Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, with an awards ceremony directly following the end of play on Sunday around 2 p.m. A firm time will be announced as soon as possible on Sunday.

    "These kids have traveled from near and far to compete in a world-class soccer tournament," said Hoyt. "It's going to be a great experience for all ages."

    The tournament includes entertainment for spectators such as a kids zone, conecessions, merchandise, and a freestyle soccer trick performer named Jayzinho. Jayzinho is ranked second in the world and is featured as a FIFA street soccer character in the 2012 EA Sports video game.
